Picus Sonic Tomography
Adam Riedi is a licensed Picus user and has used this cutting edge decay diagnostic system across the UK and Europe.
Should a tree consultant identify a potential structural defect during the course of a visual assessment, the tree must be inspected in more detail.
The Picus sonic tomography is a minimally invasive system that uses a sonic pulse to create a 2d picture of the trees cross section. This picture can then be analysed to allow an assessment of the trees stability.
